are there some app to sms free to another countries ????????

hey wat's up . Im lookin for some help , I wanna know if is possible send sms to cellphones to countries like spain o england . i have some friends there and a wanna send them sms . I know there are a lot of app messenger but a wanna try with the normal sms to another cellphone. plz help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aol instant messenger? I know it isn't sms, but that would work if your on an unlimited sms plan I think, don't quote me though.

Verizon lets you send texts(sms/mms) from their website (which you can access from the phone). Not sure if it works to international numbers
