Help Argh! Freak'n Navigation (I know, again)

Does anyone know when the 'fix' is coming for our Navigation?? I used the "Fix" found out on the internet, and it worked for about half an hour...unfortunately, that left me lost in Arlington VA., and I stood up a date!

I still have 2.1, and every time I check for updates to the firmware through the settings menu on the phone, I just get a message that says "No Firmware".

IS Samsung going to update these things to 2.2? ARE they ever going to fix this useless navigation?

Nobody knows? in case it helps, my numbers are:
Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Baseband version: T959UVJFD
Kernal Version: 2.6.29
Build Number: ECLAIR

I have about 10 apps downloaded, that's all. No Task Killer, and an upgraded Memory SD card with 12G.

I love the phone otherwise, except for Battery life and this GPS issue.
