Not sure if it only happens to me or if it was a fluke but my battery on my phone died.. I reset it, and it died.. On the third time there was 5% power left, and useful for making those emergency calls

Having a lithium Ion battery go completely flat can lead to them becoming useless, I think most phones have some sort of protection to stop that from happening and turn off when the battery reaches a certain level. Probably why there was 5% left when you turned it on again.
