Are there any features on one that aren't on the other?
Sense 3.5 on rcmix is the main difference, which should offer better performance and generally run better. The battery life is much better too.
Happy Christmas!
I can say for sure RCMix has the screen shot function. I'll be 99.99% sure that ARHD has it too as it's based on the official Sense 3.0 release and that has it.
I'd go for RCMix though .
Remember Prez when i had the force closing issue with RCMix, i think you said the super wipe script from ARHD would work with it, this still the case.
Cheers
Knackered again. Install went fine but wouldnt take me back to let me install the Titanium zip. So after RCMix was up and running (and it seemes to be running fine) i rebboted and installed the Titanium zip, rebooted let Titanium do its stuff backing up my user apps and data it then told me a reboot would be nice, rebooted RCMix loaded up came time and date and the lock ring then the who;e thing froze. 3 battery pulls later im back on ARHD
same thing happened to me... i gave up
Grab me a link for the RCMix3D DHD port and I'll flop it on this afternoon. Let you know my findings. As for Titanium Zip I can only imagine someone is using a flashable zip to install Titanium Backup and have it install all the apps on reboot? Never done anything like that myself so wouldn't mind some more info if you will murzz.
The flashable zip is just the Titanium app so it's there as soon as you boot up a new ROM and you can restore your apps straight away. Open TB, hit menu, more, create update.zip and it will stick the flashable zip on your SD Card.

I'm guessing the locking was due to the OC/UV combination? I could be wrong however as my handset is pretty sensitive to undervolting or overclocking to a great extent and I never had any issues. I'd appreciate a 2nd opinion though.
Right those of you suffering issues when restoring your apps from Titanium with RCMix3D here is my advice and what I've done to get it working:
[I use 4EXT Recovery rather than Clockwork but both should operate exactly the same]
1.Backed everything up, ROM, Launcher Pro, SMS, apps with Titanium Backup (app and system data) and created Titanium Zip.
2.Downloaded RCMix3D from within ROM Manager
3.Booted into Recovery and formatted everything followed by factory reset and then the dalvik cache for good measure.
4.Install from SD Card located RCMix3D and applied ROM.
5.Reboot Now
6.Setup Google Account only and no other settings, just kept skipping them.
7.Ensured everything worked had a little play about.
8.Booted back into Recovery and applied Titanium Zip.
9.Rebooted and opened Titanium Recovery.
10.Selected Backup/Restore tab at the top and located the PRO key and restored that single app only.
11.Closed and reopened Titanium to enable batch restore automation.
12.MENU>BATCH>RESTORE MISSING APPS AND ALL SYSTEM DATA
13.Deselect all Red System Apps and Deselect the Green [DESKTOP] HTC Sense.
14.Run the batch operation, reboot and voila all apps restored and fully working non freezing RCMix3D Runnymede.
However as this is a port and not an official release its obviously gonna have more flaws than ARHD and being a LauncherPro user Sense doesn't offer me anything I make much use of. I only switch to Sense to show off the phone. Definitely not something that offers such a great leap forward however Notes is definitely a good addition, then the implementation of FB Chat and the RCMix Tweaks Settings Menu there as always. For now I'm happy on tried and tested, official release based ARHD.
ARHD is based on Sense 3.0 and the official 3.12.405.1 Desire HD build. RCMix is the Sensation XL/XE ROM ported to work on the DHD and uses Sense 3.5.
Both have different kernels, but both are interchangeable.
El Presidente said:I know it's a port and some folk have had problems, but I had it on for 2 weeks and never had an issue at all. Of all the Sense ROMs I'd tried it was the best.
A port... So is arhd more stable?
So arhd is better? I only really want the improved camera with the hdr and panoramic modes on it. Is this a sense 3.5 features ( and then only available on RcMix?)
