If my phone gets bumped, dropped, or just set on a table without a feather light touch...it restarts. I just factory reset my phone, but I'm still having the same problem. Any ideas?

Loose battery maybe? Try wedging the battery with a piece of paper.

Sounds like a loose or dirty connection. Take out your battery and examine the contacts to see if any are bent or broken. Clean them with a q-tip and a little alcohol and make sure the battery is seated properly. If the battery wiggles when the cover is on then something is broken and needs to be replaced.

Have the same issue, now on phone #3. 2 1/2 months of run around. Have done everything I can think of including: Factory reset, replace phone, contacted tech support, gone to repair center. This started when the 2.2 update installed. Tech support says it is a phone issue, repair says it is a tech support issue.
Any other ideas that will not void the warranty?
