Assign a different ringtone for individual contacts

My Moto G6 is less than a week old (replaced a G(4+) that hit the road at about 50 mph) and so far I'm OK w/ it. There is one thing, though. I am getting more and more 'unsolicited' calls from telemarketers/robocalls. With my G(4+) I set it to use a different ringtone for calls from people in my contacts than the 'default' ringtone for anyone not in my contacts. That way I could easily ignore any call from someone I do not know. With the G6 I can't seem to find that option. I've tried editing each of my contacts, but cannot find any ringtone option. Does anyone have any ideas (ie. third party contact or ringtone app that might solve this issue? If not I'm considering returning the G6.

Not sure on a Moto, but on a Samsung, you can assign a ringtone for your contact groups. Since all your contacts (if they are saved to Google) falls into the universal My Contacts group, you can assign a specific ringtone for the group, and all non members of that group will use the default ring tone.

After posting here, on the Motorola and a few Android forums my problem was solved...

Most original replies told me to go to an individual contact, enter 'Edit' mode and tap the three dots at the upper right of the edit screen, which did not work. Tapping the three dots in the upper right corner in 'Edit' mode produces a drop-down that offers just three options... 'Delete', 'Move', 'Help & Feedback'

I received a reply to my post in the Motorola Forum from Rich in Motorola Support. Per his instructions Tapping the three dots in the upper right corner BEFORE entering the 'Edit' mode produces a drop down allowing you to select a ringtone.. - Problem solved!! :-)

BTW... I contacted Motorola Support (800#) before posting in their forum and they told me that it wasn't possible to set individual contact ringtones on the G6.
