Assigning sounds to events??

Is there an app or system setting on the phone somewhere that will allow you to allocate different sounds to different events? The phone seems to allow for Ringtone and Notification but is it possible to expand that and define sounds for say battery low, battery full, app installation complete, USB connected/disconnected etc ?

You can configure different notification sounds within the individual apps. The generic notification sound you have configured is for apps where you haven't customized the sound. For example, in the messaging app you would open messaging, got settings | notifications to set a different tone. It is similar for most of the stock apps (most third party apps are similar too, but I can't speak for all of them).

I would like to know how to NOT have the "battery full" notification!

Is that possible, please?
