If I have photos on my sd card that I want on Astro can I delete the photos off my sd card after putting them on Astro?

Astro isn't like a storage medium, it just gives you access to what is on your sd card. If you were to delete a photo from your gallery, and you then went into astro and selected dcim or whatever the camera stuff is stored under, it would also be deleted there.

Deleting photos from your sd card will delete them from astro...it only shows what is on the card.

Two things. First, I use Gallery to view my photos instead of the stock app. Second, since I use a Google account, I also have access to Picasa to store photos online. The nice part is that photos in my online galleries also show up on the phone in Gallery whether or not they are physically on the phone.
