Im not rooted so I have the stock apps on my Evo like NASCAR etc. When I go into File Manager, Astro gives me the opportunity to uninstall apps. But also the stock ones as well. I thought you couldn't do that when not rooted. I'm afraid to try the uninstall of a stock app because of possible problems that may arise. Of course, it may not let me anyhow. Has anyone not rooted tried this...or am I misunderstanding it? Thanks

You might need to reinstall them to do OTA updates.
