Support Asurion Sprint - Lost vs. Repair?

    I have had my Galaxy S3 since the first week it came out and its been through a lot. Now I have a slightly cracked screen towards the top and I just dropped it this week in a gravel parking lot shattering the camera glass.

    I do have insurance but am wondering exactly what will happen if I call it in as lost vs. a repair? Any ideas with Asurion and Sprint?

    As far as I know, Asurion doesn't repair phones, they simply replace them.
    You'll still be paying the deductible for a new one (or refurb). I'd just tell them the phone is broken and can't be used. It's honest and you won't be treated any differently than if you told them it's lost.
