Help Asus Zenfone 2 Ze551ml still turns on but will not charge or enter recovery mode.

I thought bricked my asus zenfone ze551ml a few months ago but today i plugged it in for kicks and it turned on, will not charge or factory reset, every time i try to reset it, it turns back on after shutting down to do so. Recovery mode doesn't open and just powers the phone back on. Any help is possible would be great!
