Root [AT&T] Dropping ATT signal on rooted, unlock T-Mobile G2

I have a un-locked, rooted T-Mobile LG G2 (LG-D801) on an AT&T network. I am have issues with my signal strength. Calls not coming thru. Texts delayed hours. Not finding GPS. I have to enable/disable airplane mode for my signal to connect. But its so weak that making calls is pointless. Any suggestions on how to fix this? This is my first un-locked phone so I'm not sure of the entire process to get the settings correct.
