Root [AT&T] Note 2 on 4.4.2 - tried rooting and have SuperSU installed but...

I followed the directions and it looked like everything went well with no errors but when I try to open SuperSU it says "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem! If you just upgraded to Android 4.3, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!" I also installed Root Checker Basic to check if it was rooted and it says I'm not rooted. Maybe that's why I'm having the SuperSU trouble? Did I find an outdated method to root?

I'm new to rooting but I'm fairly computer/tech savvy but I have no idea what this means. Any help would be appreciated.

It means supersu is installed as a user app. Not in system. Which method did you use? And on which version of android?

I finally got it. I tried to delete this post but I didn't mess with it much. I'll Try deleting It again. Thanks for the reply.
