AT&T S4 unlocked on T-Mobile - poor data and no Wifi Calling

Would love this awesome phone to rock on Tmobile, but it's the AT&T version, so no Wifi calling, and the data channels aren't super compatible, it seems. What's a good solution to making this phone work great on Tmobile - I really need better data coverage, and the Wifi calling would be great too. Should I root it? Recommendations please, thanks for your time.

To get the data coverage to work right you'd have to change the radios (hardware and software). To get Wifi calling you'd have to change the software. Total cost would be more than a good used S4 made for TMobile. (Unless you know how to change the radio hardware in the phone by yourself.)

I think that does it - I'm just going to buy a Tmobile model and sell mine. It will do just what it's supposed to do then, right
