hi every time i open atrackdog it says there's an update for the market but how do i update it
Go to the market, hit downloads at the top on the right and it should show in there.
If not then search for it and you should be able to do it that way
hi thanks for the quick reply but it's saying the update is for the market
haha I get ya.
What version of the market do you have?
It should update automatically and to be honest any of these market replacement apps like atrackdog and appbrain are quite often not sync'd so don't believe what it says
Let me know what version you have. I am on v1.82 which is the latest.
hi how do i find out what version i have, atrackdog says 2.07
Go to settings> applications> manage applications and then select all.
Scroll down to market and tap it. Will tell you the version in there...
Maybe I am running an older one but sure I saw it had updated the other day
hi all it says is version 2.07
So it looks like you have the latest and have showed me that I have an older one
Oh well works perfectly and never had an issue so not worried.
according to atrackdog 2.12 is the latest
Think it also depends on location.
As I said not too worried as mine is working perfectly.
Maybe someone else will post on here who can advise more.

I posted this on my twitter (twitter.com/minkiu) i haven't found any change so far. It's a HTC Desire.
@Minkiu: Welcome to the forum!
@aTrackDog: In Android v1.5 (and certainly on PalmOS!) this was a very handy app, but with Android v2.x the Market app is itself able to list apps that are outdated ... so I don't feel the need to use it any more.
These days, is there really a benefit (except that it sorts properly, as opposed to the mysterious sorting of the Market app)?
Erm mine is v1.82. How come my Milestone doesn't update the updates? Anyway to update it manually?
