Root ATT Samsung Captivate not able to flash Froyo

My captivate is rooted. I copied Captivates2.1.4.zip and renamed to update.zip, and put it on internal sdcard. I have Rom Manager Recovery and BusyBox. Tried to do 3 finger salute and shows Captivate Boot Manager. I selected reinstall package and it showed the Rom Manager Recovery (green screen). I selected install upgrade.zip and showed several lines and only 1 line that lets me click. However, it loops goes back to Rom Manager recovery screen. Any ideas?

Flash the ROM without renaming it to update.zip. If you installed ROM manager and flashed CWM to the phone, the update.zip is for ClockWork. Renaming it will cause issues.

Reflash CWM and boot into that. Flash Captivates2.1.4.zip as is and don't rename it.
