audio gone after uploading video

I have a video that I wan't to upload to whatsapp and that video has audio. When I attach the video I can play the video with audio. When I hit send I can play the video with audio. When the video is properly uploaded the audio is gone. I have tried restarting the phone and I tried using a different gallery app. I am also 100% sure that the problem is not the playback because other people also can't hear anything.

That sounds like the audio format that's the issue that's not supported by WhatsApp program.
