Just got my Eris... great, but...

I'm getting odd hiccups, jerks, and stutters when playing MP3's. This happens both in the standard player and TuneWiki. The files were fine... at least, going into the phone. It's random, but happens at least once in every song I play.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

It happens to me occasionally during heavy usage of the phone, but otherwise no. I use meridian. I actually uninstalled the stock music app

I have a Droid and I have encountered this problem. It seems to be caused by the accelerometer. I found that the skips were coinciding with my footsteps, so I started carrying it in my jacket pocket instead of my pants pocket. And that worked for me.
