Help Audio Issues

Ok, so i have sound on my device for notifications and such, but not for audio when decoded by HW. When i use MX Video Player it will play audio with SW decoding but HW is way smoother but i get no audio. Movies/Video app wont play sound at all. Media volume is all the way up.

Anyone have any ideas as to the issue or what i could have screwed up. I am running CM A3 and the SOD fix from dalingrin. Thanks

The sod fix is just for A2.1.

Try reflashing A3 and see if that fixes the issue. A3 includes the SOD fix, but flashing the fix after might be causing the problem.

I tried just reloading the CM7a3 and it didn't change the no audio.

Thanks though. I have like sound effects and such but no audio when using hardware encoding.

H/w acceleration (and probably encoding) isn't working yet. It will be coming, but it might be awhile.

I saw a couple of issues that might affect your problem (but didn't read them). I'm guessing that after Alpha 4 we might be into ICS code, which supports more h/w accel.

If your issue isn't described there, you should add it.
