I just got a vehicle nav dock with the custom Motorola USB cable. The one with the 3.5mm jack on the regular USB end. I get audio out of the cable but it's very quiet. I have the volume on the phone all the up and when I unplug the 3.5mm cable I get loud audio out of the phone speaker and out of the head phone jack. I'm so concerned with the call volume, I don't get that many calls. I have read about that in other forums.

Is there a setting I'm missing when I'm using this or is it a defective cable?

Does anyone else have this issue?

    Thank you.

  2. The volume control(s) are very confusing and scattered. I use Volume Control Pro + form Play Store that shows all six controls in one place. There is also a Volume Control Pro (free) version.

I suggest you load the app and see if it sheds any light on how your controls are set.
