Is there an audio player that will loop a music file with no gaps between the end and the beginning?

This is used for dance practice, so the tempo (beats per minutes) needs to be constant.

I tried three audio players on android and they all have gaps (no sound for a fraction of a second). The one with the shortest gap is the folder player. [edit: the test was found to be flawed after this post]

The music file itself has been edited to be seamlessly loopable. This is verified by appending the file to itself multiple times.

Actions take finite time, even for a computer. I could suggest that you append the file to itself enough times that the resultant file is long enough (in time) for your use.

There is one that I know of that has an infinite loop with adjustable crossfire length so you could set it to zero, but even then the beat would have to start playing right at the start of the song and there would need to be a small gap at the end of the file corresponding to the time in between each beat, for the beat to be looped and played continuously.

Otherwise you could set the crossfire length to something similar to whatiI have it on to try and hide any beats which aren't matched at the start of the next loop.

It's called PowerAmp in the Google Play store and has a free trial & paid version

The three players I tested was folder player, bsplayer, and poweramp. My first test was flawed because I used mp3 file which creates padding to my test files. I retested with ogg and wav file and found that poweramp is indeed gapless, although sometimes there is a slight click. BSPlayer has a slight gap. Folder player has the largest gap.

Surprisingly, the play music app that comes free with android also can loop gapless. However, it has a poor UI. Navigating the app to find my music file and play it in a loop is harder than average.

Thank you for pointing out the options in poweramp. I didn't use them but they may be useful someday.
