    Hi guys,

This is my first real post (apart from introducing myself in the Introductions thread).

I'm curious about the orientation option. I have my HTC Magic set to auto rotate, but I can only rotate to the left (counter clockwise).

Also, some apps (such as Stickies) doesn't rotate at all.

And lastly, should I be able to rotate the home screens? Sometimes if I leave the device held width ways from typing / sending a message, and press the home button, I get a quick glimpse of the home page rotated. Then it snaps back to portrait.

    Any advice?

    :)

If the app supports it, you can rotate it. It's that simple. If the developer didn't include landscape view it's not possible to put the app in landscape.;)

    I thought so. Ta.

What about the home screen? Should it be able to rotate? Mine cannot. Also, I can only rotate CCW. Can anyone rotate CW?

If, as discussed in your other thread, you go down the rooting/custom ROM route you can get additional auto rotation functionality.

I run cyanogen ROM and will rotate the home screen and many programs to both the left and right
