Help Auto sync mail HTC Desire

Hi there,

I'm new to these forums, and if there is already a topic about this i'm sorry.. but here it goes:

My exchange mail synchronizes automattically when i open the mail widget installed on my HTC Desire.

I configured my email account so that it only manually syncs, but when i open the widget it already does that.

Do you have any opinions or ideas about how to solve this issue?
