    Greetings all...

Is there anyway to make my Eris automatically hide my cell phone number, when calling out? I don't always remember to dial *67 before a call someone... and then this leads to problems with people seeing my personal cell phone number (I use Google Voice for my business on this cell).

My apologies if this question seems brainless. I came frm a BlackBerry that simply had an option to hide my number. I can't seem to find that option on my Eris (2.1)... and I couldn't find this question anywhere on the forum.

    Thanks in advance!

maybe there is an app out there that i dont know about ... but you could just put *67 in the contact numbers.

I believe you can call Verizon and make your number restricted.
I have a friend that every time he calls it says restricted. So naturally, he gets my voicemail every time... which pisses him off haha...

To permanently block your number from being displayed on any phone:
    Sign-in to My Verizon.
Click on the My Plan tab.
    Click on Add/change features.
Check the box near "Caller ID Blocking."
Click the Next button at the bottom of the form.

Or you can call in and have it blocked. apparently there is no star code you can dial to do this anymore.
