Accessories AV Cable

    Hi GUys

    Is there an AV cable so i can plug my phone in to my HDTV?

    I have looked but cant find any information.

    The desire doesn't support this without modification, so there are no specific cables around that do it.

    Thats a shame. Found it quite useful on my Nokia 5800

    Has your TV a USB connector?
    Then connect your Desire as HD on TV :)

    So, is it possible to connect it via usb and show image?

    Yes, when the TV has USB, then it has a media player, too.
    But this media player has to support the formats of the media files on your Desire.
    You have to try it :)

    I will have to try that as mine does have a usb on it, however does that mean i can play videos from the i player or just videos i have recorded with my phone?

    You have to set the Desire as Drive. So it's like an USB stick.
    The media player on your tv has play the videos your have recorded on your phone.

    This wont always work though as some TVs (samsung series 5 for example) will only look at external media for photos.
