Support Available Memory Loss? Is this an issue?

    Hi All,

I have been playing around with the Advanced Task Killer app and monitoring my available memory. I rebooted my phone this morning and killed all of the apps (that I kill) and had 206M available memory. Throughout the day I check it and kill all of the same apps and my available memory decreases. I am now down to 168M. Is this considered a "memory leak"? How can I find out what is causing this and how to correct it (if possible)? My phone is a Droid X and is not rooted.
Is this really an issue worth my effort or should I just ignore it?
    Thanks in advance!

Impossible to say. Running apps don't necessarily use the same amount of memory. While this could be a sign of a memory leak it may just as well be normal with the limited info that we have from you. You'd really need to monitor what's using your memory.

I'd suggest leaving it all alone and ditching the app killer unless you're actually having problems (in which case you need to address the problem app(s)). Don't fixate on the numbers just for the sake of it.
