How much RAM does the 7 inch Tab have? I have read somewhere that it is 500kb but the official Samsung web site does not say in the Specifications. If it is just 500kb then it could easily get filled by applications which can only be run from RAM as happens with the Nexus One.

If you look in the Tab Settings it says there is 1.42GB Device memory and I wondered if that is the equivalent to the RAM on the Nexus One. It would be a pity if the Tab could not support upgrades such as Honeycomb due to insufficient RAM.

A very quick search shows that it has 512 mb of RAM. I have no idea who was telling you it only had 500 kb of RAM. That would not even be enough to get the thing to boot.

Sorry, that was a misprint on my part. I meant 500MB and not 500KB, but the reasoning remains the same.
