Help Awake while sleeping?

I think my e-mail is killing my battery:

I have it set to check every hour but look at this:

That's crazy awake time. Checking every hour shouldn't account for that kind of overall awake time.

What are you using to track your wake locks? Better battery stats never shows me anywhere near that kind of action on Gmail. I don't use exchange so I can't comment on it though I seem to recall others complaining about exchange issues. You should try searching the gnex forums for exchange and see what comes up.

After 7 1/2 hrs, I have Gmail at < 30 wake locks. I don't run exchange but nothing on my phone is even in that ballpark. I think exchange is housing your battery.

I've never had the issue before, even set to Push.

And I don't really use Gmail at all. I'm doing another battery test. I did a battery pull and plugged it up with a custom ref. We'll see what happens.

So this is strange. My off-charger awake time is better (not fixed though). I deleted all e-mail/exchange info.

But look what happens when I'm charging. This explains why it's not fully charged in the morning sometimes. Something's going on.

your partial wakelocks since the reference pt should tell you what is keeping your phone busy while cgarging. Thats crazy active. What sort of things do you have syncing? Something is running like mad.
