Help Back to 2.1

I`ve tried Froyo I have the jp3 version and its very nice but too bugy for me, the main bug (though not heard anyone else mention this) is when trying to enter any text on the keyboard (swipe or normal) in email or text somtimes the a few of the keys dont respond for a few secs and then they do..........its driving me nuts and it takes forever to type anything, I am hoping it is a bug and not a fault on the phone so to make sure I`m reverting to a 2.1 firmware. Which is the best tweaked version and links would be very nice.

Hello me, well from what I can see most seem to have JM2 which is based on the 2.1 firmware then add lag tweeks etc. from what I have seen of Froyo it seems very good
