Ok, is there a way I can go back to 2.1 after the update? My phone was rooted before, and after the update I'm having a slew of FCs and other problems. I want to try a normal unrooted 2.1 to 2.2 update to see if that works. I've already done the factory reset "how to fix froyo" guide, it didn't work.

Edit: Not sure what to do with this. I have Odin open, the md5 on my desktop, my phone in recovery (triangle !) and connected, but I don't really know how to use Odin. The guides I'm finding aren't helping much either. Can someone walk me through?

 

Not sure if I'm in recovery or download, which one does Odin use? I did the volume up+down+power

 

The menu or just the triangle? I tried both, Odin didn't see my phone.

 

Alright in Recovery mode I had a factory reset, that seems to have fixed it. Thank you.
