I am using an unrooted S3. We all know that Kies sucks and I am unable to sync my phone with it. So that leads me to my question, are there any backup programs that I can use to backup/sync my phone too? I would appreciate any help. I am also up to paying for an app that achieve this too.

Would like to backup as much as possible so that if something goes haywire I have something I can link to that can restore my phone.

IMHO, for backing up apps and data, best unrooted "All-in-one" backup app would be mybackup pro. However, don't expect it to backup everything as well as something you can get if rooted could.

You might also try App Backup and Restore and SMS Backup and Restore. Both can be found at Google Play.

App Back up & Restore will back up your apps. That is it will make copies of your .apk files on your sd for manual installation. It won't back up data.
