I just hope you do not plan on using the Mobile Hotspot (MHS) feature because it you do you will be disappointed.

Verizon and Moto really messed this up. You can't get to certain sites because of something to do with the MTU settings and from my understanding Moto is waiting on Verizon to rewrite the updated code that is currently planned for a Mid Feb release date. According to many this has already been pushed back a couple of times.

I will test the Samsung Nexus today and it if gets good reception where I live this RAZR is going back. I use the MHS feature alot and was one of the big selling points for me.

I talked about this with the person who handled my sale at the Verizon store yesterday. They didn't have the white RAZR in stock so it's being sent.

He said that the problem had to do with the limited number of packets sent and that one could go into settings > something > and change the packets to a larger number. He also said that there will be an update to fix this, but it is fixable manually.

Aha - MTU - maximum size packet the network will support. Typically it is 1500 for ethernet. With root one could use ifconfig (linux command). Not sure where in settings one could change it; maybe under networks/hotspot (if I enable hotspot in settings to see what options are available will verizon charge me?); It seems that some devices want 1450 and others 1370.
