Help Background apps get closed when I clear them from recent apps n Lenovo Vibe p1m

I clear my background apps to free some RAM but meanwhile in notification panel apps get closed eg Gravity screen closes, uc browser, internet speed meter lite, etc

I have a nexus 5 that has no such problem
Both have lollypop installed.

Help needed.
