Background light is not been displayed while attending to a call on nexus 4

I am using LG Google Nexus 4, background light is not been displayed immediately after i lift the call.How can i enable the background light while i am attending the call?

That's a function of the light sensor, I believe. I guess it's possible that could be affected by dirt ..?

I suspect you're going to have to send it for repair, but given you'll need to do a factory reset before you send it off, you might want to check if that fixes the issue.

Make sure you back everything up before you do the factory reset.
