Backing up Mail

    Anyone know of any app that will back up Mail? I use MyBackup Pro which is fine for backing up most things, including Messages, but it doesn't back up emails.

    I guess partly it depends on if you are using POP3 or IMAP to access your email. If you're using IMAP then there's probably no need to back it up since it still resides on your mail host.

    For my part I use Outlook with locally saved emails on my desktop - in case of Gmail doing the swan dive into service oblivion. :eek:

    On the Droid side I put my faith and life into Titanium backup (root required) dropping archives to my 16GB SD card. :cool:

    Thanks for that, I was set up as POP3, had never even considered (and didn't really know anything about) IMAP. I have now switched to IMAP.
