Backing up sms and contacts etc

Hi
I've found how to back things up, but only to google online, not to the SD card. Is it possible to back up pics, sms and contacts all to the sd card?

There are a few SMS Backup & Restore apps on the market which will backup your texts as an xml file to your SD Card. Also, if you head in to your phonebook, hit menu, import/export, it will allow you to export your phone book to the SD Card.

Aha...a menu once you enter a screen, excellent thanks, so simple when you know how )
Shame it doesn't back up your sms properly from the phone, but we can't have everything lol
