Is there a way to have the backlight always on when on AC power? I have a cradle and would like to have the backlight always on when in the cradle. Thanks.

Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > Stay Awake

Not sure if thats only for Debugging, but looks like the right option.

Edit: Just tested it, thats the right option. Enjoy!

I've also seen screen timeout toggles in the market (or just set the timeout to never yourself as needed). Settings > Sound and Display > Screen Timeout

Tasker, which is in beta right now and not in the market, can do this by setting up a Profile on the 'State' of Power AC and/or Power USB, and/or USB Plugged to set the screen mode stay awake.

Go to the beta forums where the developer has the latest beta available, but it's only good until April right now when it's supposed to be released in the Android market for $$.
