Root Backup Assistant Plus on Non-Stock ROM

Is there any way to use Verizon's Backup Assistant while on a non-stock ROM, for example, CyanogenMod 7. I set up backup assistant while on the Stock ROM, and I was disappointed when I installed Backup Assistant and I couldn't restore my contacts.

Is there a solution for that problem?

not that i am aware of, restore a stock rom, and back up your contacts to your sd card, then you can import them into Cyanogen or into google.

I looked on the My Verizon web page and I had to retype my contact's info, at least now it's backed up onto my Google account.
