Backup Battery

Okay, so the battery life on my inc is not good, so I have decided to get a second battery. If I am going to Verizon store, what is the largest capacity battery that will work with stock battery cover and what phones that verizon carries have the same batteries? I don't trust the employees there to know what is interchangeable lol.

Or do I order an aftermarket battery? I am seriously wanting to get a stock one though to do some comparisons to see if there really is a difference in two stock batteries, or close to stock (both verizon but slightly different capacities).
