Support Backup to Google Drive Disabled by your admin.

    I was checking if my phones were backing up to Google's servers and this popped up on my S8+. I didn't find an option for backing up to google drive on my J3. Would anyone be able to explain to me how to enable backing up to Google Drive both on my S8+ and J3?

    Your best bet, might be to set up a separate account on Google.

    Is there anything else I could try? And do you know if anyone else is having the same issue as me?

    Longshot, but try this: –

    Remove your Google account from your phone.
    Clear your system cache and wait 24 hours.
    Reenter your Google account and try syncing.


    Your best bet is to try and contact Google. Apparently there are issues with nougat on some phones where the backup is actually occurring and the error message is itself in error. Is obviously difficult to accept this, since this is a critical safety function.
