Well, I am running Nexbeast 1.1 so not a Froyo ROM, but I did update to the latest baseband via Pete's install on the ROM manager. Everything works great and my signal is usually 3-4 bars everywhere so it is a small improvement there.... However, I've noticed that my downloads have slowed dramatically. I used to get around 1.25Mb down or at least routinely over 1Mb, but now it's barelly 500-600k each time. I'm in different areas of town and it's not any better. Has anyone noticed this problem?

The other thing is if I wanted to revert to the previous baseband (not the 3E.03P but rather 3E.01P, I believe) where do I get the file?

Do you still need to rename it or just install as normal

Using CW, you don't need to rename it. Just select "Install ROM from SD Card", navigate to the downloaded file, select it, and go...

Things seemed generally faster for me on the newest baseband, the first baseband update that actually seemed to help, in my case. Also getting better voice quality at work, where I have a weak signal.
