Right now S3 is still my basic phone and wouldn't hold a charge half years ago. Bought a new stock battery but now is begin losing capacity again. Ordered another new battery which says 3200mah and will arrive soon. Wandering if these "extended" batteries having same dimension really work?

The stock battery is 2100mah. A 3200 mah one is going to be quite large, and likely will come with its own back housing.

If you want something slightly larger than stock look into anker brand. Itll give you a tad extra but still fit in the stock housing.

Received this several days before. Thought battery life increased a bit (or maybe placebo effect?)Anyway, a good spare.

one thing i've noticed about charging phones is that the regular wall mount charger, not the usb one, will a lot of times not charge because the wiring inside the cord will become loose. so whenever possible use the usb cord in the wall charger and not the hardline one...if that makes any sense. jmo

Can you post a link to where you got it. I just got a s3 and the the battery life on this think stinks. I had a zte majesty before and that thing would last all day even with heavy usage.

Yes post a pic. Would love to see it

Blimey! Is the battery any good? What extra life are you getting compared to standard battery? I have Samsungs own extended battery that came with a bigger back but this is the same size! Is it too good to be true?

Seems to last longer than stock one---takes a bit longer to charge as well, but I have the stock one to fall back on if necessary. That's why I bought a phone where you could change battery-- there WILL be a time when you get caught out.
Up yours HTC One and all Iphones ( and worryingly more manufacturers).
There is no valid reason to make a phone/tablet/phablet where the battery can't be removed/ replaced. Not in my way of thinking anyway. Just greed in that they have you shagged over a barrel---we will repair it, or else. For zillions of drinking vouchers. Yeah. Right.
