Over the last few 15 months my Samsung Galaxy S5 has been causing a severe problem. The phone which i got 3 years ago as a hand-me-down from my dad, came with the charging cover broken off. But ever since it was updated to Android Version Jellybean and other updates afterwards things went wrong.
It CONSTANTLY thinks the back cover is not on properly (which is a flip-over leather cover with screen lid.) I have checked many times but the cover is on straight.
With each update the phone seems to have gotten worse. First 8 times a day. But lately it has been bombarding with the 'check battery cover' message over 50 times a day with approximately 7 to 20 second intervals.
It constantly ends up interrupting what i am doing including including trying to press the answering button for phone call.
I wouldn't have come here i i wasn't already lost for advice.
I have factory reset it many times. It's no a rooted or modded phone. It's not using a Micro SD card and it has been driving me crazy.
