Help Battery dieing extremely fast

My wife has a fascinate and she charges it to fully charged before bed, the phone sits idle all night long for a max of 8 hours usually more like 6 and when she wakes up in the morning its almost completely dead. She looked at what was draining and it said the phone idle is draining most of it and that 28% of the time its without a signal which makes no sense becasue we never have service issues. This happened before and we figure it was a bad battery and we got a new one and it worked fine for about a month now its doing it again. Im thinking it cant just be a bad battery again.

Anyone have any ideas?

i dunno why but when first upgrading to eb01 battery never died... and now mine's dieing fast with sc 2.2 :/ . It says my display is using 80% of my battery life....

My fascinate is without signal for usually 30-50% of the time and it does not affect my battery usage too much. I live in a big brick dorm building. Service sucks even though there is a cell tower 1 mile away....
