Help battery dont last more 5 hrs

I need sugestion on what to do. ..Got a galaxy s captivate and try everything to save battery life...should a buy a second baterry or... Bring it back? ?

For such "hard days" I have my JustMobile Gum Pro, a mobile charger with 4400mAh battery (120grams)

Did you try the Cognition ROM? I have the Cognition ROM on my Captivate and I just can't kill the battery.

My Captivate lasts for several days, whereas my Evo / Epic mostly last a day or so.

The other really nice design of the Captivate is the easy to remove battery cover, so extremely easy to swap a spare battery.
