I was experiencing very fast battery drain while my Galaxy S Blaze was sitting idle. I attributed this to the battery being worn out. So I ordered a new OEM battery. It arrived and the problem continued with the same degree of quick drainage. I left it for a timed 2 hours after a reboot and checked it. It had dropped from 92% to 72%. While doing nothing. All apps were closed. 58% of the drainage came from "Cell standby" and 26% came from "Phone idle". The rest came from small processes such as "Phone" and "Android Systems". In my opinion, this is an unacceptable amount of battery draining in 2 hours. Is there any way to reduce this? Thanks!
