Hey all just bought a DROID x2 and my biggest complaint is that.the battery indicator counts down by tens when using any app for battery status. 100 90 80 etc... on all my previous devices for android it would go 100 99 98 etc.. any advice on how to get.it to count by ones? Its an issue for me because its inaccurate when it.only counts by.tens.

    Thanks

Same issue on my Electrify. It doesn't really matter... I just prefer it the other way.

Anyone know what's happening there? Would a different ROM even make a difference?

Different handset manufacturers make the choice of how frequently to check the battery in an attempt to conserve power consumption. Everything that happens within that handset has an impact on battery life. The impact may be large or it may be negligible...

What I think would be nice is if Android supported a switch within settings to allow the end user to choose how frequently they monitor the battery...
