this is a standard unrooted phone, had it 9 months.

i bought a new battery too and still dies after 3-4 hours....what shall i do?

Do you have low signal?? This is a major killer for battery power.

When your phone tries to connect to the provider it uses battery power (easy). However, when it does not connect to a provider it boosts the power to the antenna to try and recieve signal. This goes up in progressions till its satisified. So in theory the longer your phone does not have signal, the more it will boost the power to try and connect. Hence, draining your battery dead.

Unfortunatly there is no solution, unless you switch to a provider that has better network coverage in your area. I have heard of mobile phone network boosters/repeaters (google it). You should also try turning off your mobile internet connection/wifi/gps, when they are not needed.

Definitely not the battery, could also be a app running in background.
