My Motorola Atrix battery life is really not that good. I purchased it 2 days ago. It was at full charge this morning, and when I got back from school it was at 30% charge, and I only used the internet like 1 hour on it at school, and like an hour of music. That is beyond horrible. My iPhone 4 usually had like 75% battery with the exact same usage when I got back home.

Anyway, is there any way to disable Wi-Fi (not manually) when the phone screen goes black and it goes into standby? Is there a certain app for this?

I just need some ways to really increase the battery life. What ways woudl you guys recommend?

settings -> wireless -> wifi -> menu button -> advanced

for battery usage, just make sure you turn off whatever you're not using, such as blue tooth, gps, and turn down the brightness whenever you can.

    good luck

as u probably know, you can also add a quick toggle button for wifi by holding down on the background somewhere. Select motorola widgets/select wifi toggle. I really like this since wifi sux the battery down.
