Thank you guys. Too bad about that. Think you guys can help with one last thing. I've disabled a bunch of apps but battery life is weak, any way I can improve on that? Sorry about asking questions but I literally know nothing about this phone or android. Playing with it has not gotten me very far either.

    Hiya!
Since you have a separate issue, I've taken your post and made a thread of your own about it;)

When you say battery life is weak, can you define "weak"? I mean, how long does the battery last after full charge?

Edit: oh, and don't worry about too many questions...that is why we exist here :)

My 2 centavos on battery life:
Some actually do experience less battery life initially after making wholesale changes.
My money says battery life will improve on the next full charge & reboot.

One other major item of note:
You're new to Android & no doubt have peeked around in the app store.
My guess is you've seen apps promising better performance & battery life,Cleaning your phone to make it better/etc......

    STAY AWAY FROM THESE APPS:
They're Snake Oil at minimum & usually worse: Data Mining apps/Snoopware.
Just take a look at the permissions of the apps you want download.
If the permissions seem to be overreaching for their intended purpose, don't install it,it's Crapware/Snoopware/data mining.................

LG G5

The LG G5 was launched April 1st, 2016. This was some of LG’s biggest innovation yet with the introduction of dual rear cameras, always-on display, and an interesting modular design concept. The modular design never caught on.
